![]() BOOK REVIEW by Marcel Gignac : The Great Cannabis Conspiracy by Sam Mellace. As part of my self-forced therapy of staying off my feet for a week to allow them to heal, I spent the first four days reading The Great Cannabis Conspiracy by Sam Mellace. To be honest, I wasn't sure what to expect. While Sam and I agree on many aspects regarding Medicinal Cannabis, there will always be some we disagree on. Which is perfectly fine as it creates open debate and that is how people learn. Education is the key to change and this book has some interesting perspectives on how to achieve that goal. Having been involved in Medicinal Cannabis for so long doing research and educating others, I am well aware of the corruption of prohibition that has also now spewed over to corporate corruption here in Canada. I soon realized that this book was not written for someone like me. At 180 pages, it is a fraction of the truth that would probably exceed over 2000 pages (which no one would ever read). But, it could be a valuable tool to start that road to education. For me, the target demographic for this book is anyone that stills thinks that the stigmatizing propaganda from prohibition had any semblance of truth. You know, your parents, grandparents, teachers, politicians, friends and family. To me this could be the perfect gift for that special someone which is exactly what I am going to do. My copy will be passed on to someone that is just coming to terms that his Government he was taught to trust, lied to him his entire life. There is actually a lot of people I know that could stand to learn from this book. I may have to get more. "Let's make a new national day for cannabis -- if April 20 is International Marijuana ("lets all get stoned") Day, let's make April 19 the National Day of Cannabis as Medicine. Having it the day before will emphasize that patients come first,....." ~ Dr. Sam Mellace I couldn't agree more. Marcel Gignac - The 420 Radio Show - Kannabliss Technologies |
